Baptist Bible College strives to provide the highest quality education. Education must have balance in theory and

The Institution affirms that God has provided absolute truth in Scripture. The Scripture is sufficient for life change and is the framework for historic Baptist teaching. 2 Timothy 3:14-17; 2 Peter 1:3
The Institution has its standard that one’s purpose is to glorify Christ in all things: in thought, conduct, and motives. Jesus Christ is the standard and value of all things. Philippians 3:7-14; Colossians 1:17; 3:1-17.
The Institution educates and challenges students to adopt the value of continued learning that enhances their Christcentered ministries and marketplace professions.

Mission
The mission of BBC assists local churches in fulfilling the great commission by teaching sound Biblical doctrine; to train and embolden men and women for ministry and to provide affordable quality education, recognized credentials in Tanzania and a sustainable educational environment for future generations; to equip students with Christian ministerial and professional skills to improve their quality of life and that of their communities, nation, and the whole world by:
- Training in the long-term professional programs in the specified theological, and other disciplines as well as
in short term post experience skills building. - Conducting research and publication of research findings on issues of spiritual and socioeconomic
development through the proclamation of the Gospel.

Objectives
The objectives of BBC are:
- To form an academic community of both teachers and learners as a center of creativity and dissemination of knowledge in an environment that provides for the advancement of spiritual development, human values and dignity.
- To advance, expand, transmit, enhance, and preserve the Gospel and sound doctrine for the benefit of the people of Tanzania, East Africa, and the world at large.
- To promote respect for learning among various higher learning educational disciplines and the pursuit of knowledge and truth; and to promote progressive and responsible application of knowledge, science and technology for the benefit of present and future generations.
- To contribute toward the satisfaction of the demand for experts by society in various fields of theology, education, and business studies by preparing competent and well qualified intellectuals of high academic, spiritual and moral integrity.
- To provide higher education and learning opportunities to young generations of Tanzania in particular and the international community in general and avail an avenue of social mobility to all able men and women.
- To empower students by providing them with opportunities to enhance the formation of their fundamental capabilities and by assisting them to think critically and to be skillful in communication and in methods of inquiry.
- To prepare and mould men and women of integrity, devotion, and commitment, who are principled, accountable and capable of assuming leadership roles in society.
- To promote equal opportunity to all categories of people in society; to enable the nurturing of Biblical ideals of good and responsible citizenship.
- To promote an understanding of the practical applications of knowledge, including a balance between intellectual and spiritual health, identification with African culture, and integration or coexistence of various cultures.
- To be exemplary in quality of performance, conduct and ethics, and to ensure transparency in whatever activity it undertakes.
- To be a forum for intellectual dialogue and collaboration with other institutions of higher learning for mutual benefit.
