Meet our lecturers & Staff

Rev. Vernon E. Smith

Rev. Smith is the Chancellor, Director, and a teacher of theology and related subjects at Baptist Bible College and Community center. He is a 1983 graduate of Mission University in the USA. Rev. Smith holds a Bachelor degree in Theology. Together with his wife Mary, they have served as missionaries in Tanzania since 1990 teaching and preaching all over Tanzania in sister churches and college programs.

Mrs. Mary J. Smith

Mrs. Smith is a teacher of Women and Children's ministry in Christian education subjects. She is a 1983 graduate of Mission University holding a Bachelor degree in Christian Education. Together with her husband, she has served in Tanzania as a missionary since 1990 teaching and serving all over Tanzania in sister churches and college programs.

REV. Peter Kitang'wa

is the lead pastor of Cornerstone Bible Baptist Church in Dar Es Salaam. He is a graduate of Baptist Bible College of Tanzania. He has studied theology through Lucent University and holds a BA degree in theology. Rev. Kitang'wa is married to Rachel and they are blessed with three lovely daughters Marysella, Anna and Princess.

Cleophas Wansinyo

is a lecturer, and aspiritual leader at BBC-TZ. He is married to Beatrice since 2011. The couple has four children, namely; Precious,Beryl,Genesis and Eliana. He graduated from Kamagambo TTC> Diploma in Teaching. Baptist BIble College >Diploma in leadership. Nation to Nation University>Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Theology. Lucent University>Master of Arts (B.A) in Theology and Ministry.

Elizabeth Sanka

Elizabeth Sanka, a Bachelor of Banking and Finance graduate from IFM University, fulfills the roles of Office Secretary and Accountant at Baptist Bible College Tanzania. With precision and professionalism, she ensures seamless office operations and meticulous financial management, contributing to the college's success with dedication and expertise.
